ATEX Equipment
ESTA has certification for the Preparation, Installation, Maintenance and Inspection of Electrical Systems within zoned areas EX 01 to EX 06 CERTIFICATE OF CORE COMPETENCEor Control and Process Control Solutions. ESTA Manufactured Motor Centres and Panels are internationally accredited products and conform to the latest international standard.
Electrical
- EX 01 Preparation & Installation of ex ’d’, ‘n’, ‘e’ and ‘p’ apparatus in potentially explosive atmospheres.
- EX 02 Maintenance & Inspection of ex ‘d’, ‘n’, and ‘p’ apparatus in potentially explosive atmospheres
- EX 03 Preparation & Installation of ex ‘ia’ and ‘ib’ systems in potentially explosive atmospheres.
- EX 04 Maintenance & Inspection of ex ‘ia’ and ‘ib’ systems in potentially explosive atmospheres
The ATEX directive consists of two EU directives describing what equipment and work space is allowed in an environment with an explosive atmosphere.
Dust
These units are used to extend the competence for craftsmen working on Electrical Apparatus for use in the presence of combustible Dusts, which ESTA has Ex 05 and Ex 06 completed.
- EX 05 The preparation & installation of electrical apparatus protected by enclosure, for use in the presence of combustible dusts.
- EX 06 Maintenance and inspection of electrical apparatus protected by enclosure, for use in the presence of combustible dusts.
